Minecraft Dungeons, Code Vein, and Battlefield 2042 are your PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for March, with Tchia and much more coming to Game Catalog. It’s an open-world sandbox adventure inspired by New Caledonia, an archipelago in the southwest Pacific Ocean.PlayStation shared the news during its latest State of Play, where it also shared that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Tchia, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction will all be joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, which is available to Extra and Premium members. Tchia will be available for PS Plus Extra and Premium members on March 21. Interestingly, PlayStation Plus subscribers are being treated to a fourth free game in March. It’s an action role-playing game often described as “anime Dark Souls.” It makes sense considering publisher Bandai Namco also published God Eater 3 and Dark Souls. Players explore procedurally generated dungeons filled with randomly generated monsters, traps and rewards. Set in the universe of Mojang’s blockbuster sandbox game, Minecraft Dungeons is a hack-and-slash-style dungeon crawler played from an isometric perspective. If you’re looking for some co-op action, Minecraft Dungeons will also be free.
Although Battlefield 2042 got off to a rocky start, it has received numerous patches post-launch which could make it an enjoyable play through PS Plus. It allows players to create customized game modes, mixing and matching maps, weapons, classes and equipment from previous Battlefield games. DICE ditched a traditional single-player campaign with Battlefied 2042, instead opting to focus more on multiplayer as well as the brand new community-driven platform, Battlefield Portal. The game was released in 2021 to lackluster reviews it was the lowest-rated game in the Battlefield series. Once again, it’s another excellent month of offerings for PS Plus members.īattlefield 2042 is the latest entry in EA’s long-running first-person shooter franchise. Available starting March 7 - which is when the first Tuesday of the month lands - for PS Plus Essential Extra and Deluxe will be Battlefield 2024, Minecraft Dungeons and Code Vein.
